CLEAN was founded in 1955, born from Dr Mario Martini's passion for innovation. Experimentation and research are the characteristics that most set the company apart: we were among the first in Italy to produce metatartaric acid and to offer solutions for the decalcification of wine.
In 1994 CLEAN moved to the new plant in Rosta (TO), with larger, more functional spaces for the production and handling of goods.
Always focused on widening its trade horizons, CLEAN now carries out more than half of its sales operations in Europe and South America.
Despite the developments over recent decades, CLEAN has never forgotten its roots as a family business, making the most of the advantages of being a small company; the possibility to be flexible, agile and responsive to customer needs.
The company's product range still consists of many of their classic products:
metatartaric acid, neutral potassium tartrate and cream of tartar.
To these a line for the decalcification of wine has been added, made up of ENODEC DUE
and Micronised Calcium Tartrate.
CLEAN is also known for the quality of its caramels
and caramelised sugar, mainly used in the confectionery and alcoholic beverages industries.

completes the range of products, with powder and liquid products mainly destined for the winemaking industry.
